Come visit us and see if we can help find your next family member. When you find a dog or cat you are interested in adopting, you can discuss your needs with one of our staff members to determine if the pet is a good fit for your family.
Dogs & Pups $95
Cats & Kittens $55
All our pets receive their first round of vaccinations, first dewormings, spay or neuter, flea and heartworm prevention, and other preventative care. They also receive a physical examination by one of our staff veterinarians. If your adoption is approved, we will give you a copy of the medical record and go over dates for the next veterinary visit. We typically recommend you visit your veterinarian within 2-3 weeks. Our SPCA wellness clinic does offer veterinary services, and you can visit our website if you would like to continue veterinary care at our clinic.
If your recently adopted pet has a medical concern within two weeks, please give us a call or stop in during our walk-in appointment hours. The most common problems we see are upper respiratory disease and diarrhea. It is important to keep your new pet separated from other pets in your household for a few weeks so they don’t spread illness (similar to the human cold!).
It is also important to keep in mind that adopting a pet is a commitment to that animal. Food, shelter, and medical care are all necessities she will need in her future. Your pet will need further vaccinations and other preventative care, and you also may need to pay for veterinary services if the pet becomes ill. We ask that you be committed to giving your pet a healthy and happy quality of life.
